The River

Fishing at the ranch

A river runs through it, 1,000 feet of shoreline to be precise. And it's all yours.

On your own

Some groups plan the whole trip around the water: early casts, long afternoons, and stories at the fire pit at night. Others just like falling asleep to the sound. But either way, it will be there just outside your door.

With a guide

Want someone who knows the river? Duranglers, out of Durango, runs wade and float trips on the Dolores, and they're happy to take groups.

Good to know

The water
  • 1,000+ feet of private Dolores River frontage
  • A private pond with a boardwalk, a little footbridge and a bench swing
  • The River Suite's hanging daybed looks right out over the pond
The honest part
  • The river tents are open summer and fall only
  • We're next to national forest, so fire rules change with the season. We'll tell you what's allowed for your dates.
